Pineda Playa de Noja is located in an outstanding and beautiful place in the nature, nearby the Cantabrico Sea

Playa de Ris, also known as “golden beach”, is 2.8 km. long and has been awarded with the blue flag of the European Union due to the quality of its services. We would like to point out the following ones:

Live-saving, pedestrian access, wheel chair access, regulated parking zone, showers and fountains, daily cleaning

Apart from the quality of its fine sand, you could surf or windsurf or enjoy the beauty of the sea bed if you practice diving…

From Playa de Ris you can reach the other beach of Noja called Trengandín. It is 4.3 km long and you can go from one to the other taking a walk by the coast and through the cliffs.
The rocky landscape and the seaside dunes are characteristic of this area and the beauty of this landscape is almost unreal.

As you may have noticed, the hotel is placed in a priviledged location over Playa de Ris

For example, in less than 30 minutes drive by car, you can reach places like Santoña, with its fishing port and anchovies, or Lierganes full of rich architecture, Ampuero, where bull running in the street takes place in September, the Ason, which is an excellent salmon river and where usually “campanu”, first salmon of the season, is fished, or Santander, the capital of the province, a beautiful city, with a nice port area, casino, and its famous beaches among other attractions.
A bit further away, in an hour drive, you can visit a large number of interesting places such as Barcena Mayor or Picos de Europa among many others…

Apart from the touristic visits to all those interesting places, we also want to let you know that you can practice a great number of sport activities in the nature such as tracking, bird watching, go to any of the large amount of beaches nearby the hotel to surf, for example, to go down a canyon, horse riding, play golf, relax in a spa, etc…
